GCP 40th Anniversary
GCP 40th Anniversary was performed in 2013.
On Wednesday, June 26th, 2013, GCP began a spectacular anniversary event at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater with an elegant meal created by the one-and-only Chef Eric DeGroot. Dinner was followed by a dazzling concert at the Tower Theatre, featuring some of GCP’s finest past & present performers, including Elena Aguirre, Fred Bologna, Ed Burke, Emma Boone, Tami Cowger, Janet Glaudé, Greg Grannis, Laurie King, Terry Lewis, Teddy Maldonado, Louise Mandrell, Kaye Migaki, Gordon Moore, Chelsea Newton, Janice Noga, Emily Pessano, Sara Price, Clytee Ramsey, Richard Ruth, Seth Scott, Joleen Siebert and of course, Dan Pessano. A special thanks to all of you who spoke or sent video or written tributes. We were touched by the outpouring of love and well-wishes. It was an incredible evening of laughter, friendship and extraordinary talent! We thank the GCP Staff and all the performers, patrons, techies, and Roger Rocka’s staff who have made this endeavor possible through the past four decades. GCP has become a rather large family and if you’ve ever worked on a production, purchased a ticket, sold a ticket, posted a flier or waited tables, you are part of the family. Thank you for 40 wonderful years. Here’s to the next 40!
June 26, 2013: GCP throws a massive Red Carpet 40th Anniversary Party with dinner at Roger Rocka’s and show across the street at the Tower Theater. A great time was had by all with a special tribute to founding father and managing director, Dan Pessano. Then, back to work!
