Alicia O’Neill – GCP Alumna

Born and raised in Fresno, CA, Alicia performed with Good Company Players’ Junior Company in 1994 & 1995 and also was seen in GCP main stage productions such as EvitaThe Sound of MusicJoseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamcoatHello, Dolly! And Carousel.

Alicia received her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Redlands and her Masters in Opera Performance from the Conservatory of Music in Vienna, Austria.

She has sung all over the world, most notably in Austria, Germany and Japan. And, of course, the USA. Some of her favorite roles and performances include singing Mozart’s Queen of the Night in Salzburg, Giulia in Gilbert & Sullivan’s “The Gondoliers,” Seraph in Beethoven’s “Christus am Oelberge,” Olympia from Offenbach’s “Les Contes d’Hoffman” in Japan and Miss Wordsworth in Benjamin Britten’s “Albert Herring” in Vienna.

Alicia has been a resident artist for Opera im Berg since 2010, where she has appeared as Rosina in “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” in two productions of “die Zauberfloete” and all Opera Galas during her tenure.

Alicia is looking forward to making the first professional recording of “Der Sonnenkreis” in Stuttgart soon and to sing her first Gilda from Verdi’s “Rigoletto with Opera im Berg in the summer of 2012 — but before all that, she will be appearing in Fresno at Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theater for one night only on  Wednesday, March 28, 2012!
