Theatre Skills Workshop

This workshop provides training in dance, singing and acting.  Students aged 8 to 15 will prepare and perform scenes and musical numbers from upcoming GCP shows, especially those that have roles for young people.  Teamwork, confidence, self-discipline, focus and concentration are among the vital skills the workshop instructors emphasize.  The Performance Skills Workshop is taught by Good Company Players‘ teachers experienced in coaching young people, under the supervision of Laurie Pessano, GCP’s Junior Company Director.  Classes will be divided into smaller groupings for work on voice, dance and acting during each morning session.

Join the cast of the world’s best-loved musical!  The Sound of Music is the story of Maria Rainer and the 7 unruly Von Trapp children she’s hired to teach. The fun-loving Maria soon teaches the children to sing, dance, and trust.  Everyone who registers is in the cast.
